Top of The Rock

Things to do at Top of the Rock

Top of the Rock offers spectacular 360‑degree views of the New York City skyline from its location in the heart of Midtown at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Three indoor and outdoor observation decks on the 67th, 69th, and 70th floors provide unobstructed views of Central Park, the Empire State Building, and the Hudson River. Key highlights include The Beam Experience, which recreates the famous 1932 “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper” photo, and SKYLIFT, a revolving glass platform that rises 30ft above the top deck. Visitors can also explore curated art installations and a multimedia exhibition on the history of Rockefeller Center. Visit at sunset for golden-hour views or after dark to see the city fully illuminated.
