The Freedom Tower in New York City along with the World Trade Center Observatory are other names that this iconic landmark and the tallest building in the western hemisphere is known by.
Located at One World Trade Center, the tower stands 1,776 feet tall and is a tribute to the thousands of lives lost in the September 11th attacks. The building was designed with a narrow octagon shape that is meant to evoke images of the Statue of Liberty and stands as a beacon of hope for future generations.
