What to do at The Intrepid Museum

The Intrepid Museum in New York City is a must-visit for anyone interested in naval history or space exploration. Located on the Hudson River, this museum is situated on the very aircraft carrier that served in World War II and the Vietnam War. Today, the ship is filled with fascinating exhibits detailing the history of the ship and the brave men and women who served on it.

Visitors can even explore the ship's notorious "jail" and try on actual flight suits worn by the pilots who flew from its deck. But the Intrepid is much more than just a museum about naval history- it is also home to the Space Shuttle Enterprise. This iconic spacecraft, which did not travel to space but was used for test flights in the 1970s, is on display for visitors to see up close.

As you walk around the museum, you will be struck by the massive size of the ship and the exhibits. There is so much to see and learn that one visit may not be enough. Overall, the Intrepid Museum is a truly unique experience that offers a glimpse into the history and the future of space exploration.
