Steps away from Chelsea Market eateries and High Line Park for a more reflective day in the city. See the largest remaining fragment of World Trade Center window glass, hold a piece of the airplane wing, see the 'Ground Zero Bible page' and the actual 'frozen clock'. The award-winning 9/11 Museum Workshop is the first-stop for visitors before visiting the World Trade Center site. This particular experience is praised for being family-friendly, due to its non-graphic and interactive ways of teaching children of all ages about this tough subject, in a gentle manner. The focus is less towards the day of 9/11 itself, but rather the nine-month recovery period when cameras were not allowed, making this collection all the more rare.
