Clipper City Tall Ship cruise highlights
Statue of Liberty
The Clipper City Tall Ship cruise will give you great views of the breathtaking Statue of Liberty. You will get the best photos imaginable as you cruise by under the power of the ship's massive sails.
Governors Island
Floating just about 800 yards south of Manhattan, Governors Island is a beautiful National Landmark in NYC. The island is home to the exciting summer music festival named Governors Ball which has featured artists like Flume, "Weird Al" Yankovic and Chance The Rapper.
Ellis Island
Along the cruise, you will also see Ellis Island which was once the passageway for over 12 million immigrants who wished to enter the country. The island has expanded over the years and now occupies almost 28 acres of land.
Facts
Slide Hill on Governor's Island is the longest hill in New York City. The hill extends for 57 feet.
Being that New York and New Jersey share jurisdiction over their border, one half of Ellis Island belongs to both states. The abandoned half of Ellis Island is technically located in New Jersey.

Wetter gut, alles gut 😊
Disappointing experience — not as advertised
Natalia and stacy ·1. It was advertised as a sailing boat, but the sails were never opened. We spent the entire trip on a motor-powered boat. This was nothing like the experience shown in the photos and videos used in the advertising. 2. The boat spent a lot of time moving extremely slowly, barely going anywhere. We spent long periods almost stationary, which made the experience feel quite pointless. 3. The boat itself is not particularly attractive. There are other sailing boats in New York that are much nicer and more charming, especially the wooden ones. 4. The jazz music is only really audible in the central area of the boat. Unfortunately, this is also where there is very little seating — just three or four small benches. From most other areas of the boat, you can barely hear the jazz duo.
Eher schlecht
Sabine ·Wenn man auf einem Großsegler noch nicht mal die Segel hisst, obwohl das Wetter es zugelassen hätte, finde ich das schlecht. Andere Segler drumherum hatten die Segel gehisst.
beautiful experience
Daniela ·great crew, great atmosphere, beautiful ride and the route is good too.
Not as advertised
James ·Not as advertised, no sailing involved, rowdy booze cruise vibes, wasn’t 90 mins we left 25 minutes late after being forced to stand in 33 degrees of heat and were back and off the boat within 1 hour
